Overview
You might feel like you don’t quite fit anywhere—and it’s affecting your relationships, sense of direction, or confidence. I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy to help you understand how trauma and identity experiences shape your patterns. Together, we focus on practical changes like setting boundaries, reducing burnout, and making decisions that fit your goals and how you actually function.
Who I Commonly Work With
I often work with adults who identify as autistic, ADHD, or otherwise neurodivergent, many of whom also experience marginalization related to race, sexuality, gender, or other identity. Many have spent years masking or pushing themselves to meet expectations. By the time they reach out, they’re often dealing with burnout, anxiety, and feeling stuck in environments that don’t match how they think, relate to others, or regulate stress.
Services I Offer
I provide individual therapy for adults who feel like they don’t quite fit—often related to neurodivergence, race, or queerness. Our work focuses on understanding your needs, values, and relationship patterns using Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR, adapted to how you think and process.
If you are neurodivergent (diagnosed, self-identified, or thinking you may be) and want to understand your system and needs better, start here.
If you’re seeking IFS therapy for trauma, self-acceptance, or feeling “stuck,” start here.
When This Work Is a Good Fit
This work is a good fit if you’re looking for therapy that is emotionally attuned, practical, and focused on meaningful change. It’s especially helpful if you’re able to attend weekly sessions and stay engaged over time.
It’s likely to be a good fit if one or more of these sound right:
You identify as neurodivergent (diagnosed or self-identified) and want to better understand how you function
You feel burned out from overworking, masking, or people-pleasing
You struggle with boundaries in work or relationships
You think you may be neurodivergent and want support exploring that
You’re looking for IFS-informed therapy for trauma, identity, or feeling “stuck”
You’re able to engage in consistent, weekly therapy
When This May Not Be the Best Fit
This may not be the best fit if you’re looking for highly structured, manualized therapy, want to focus only on cognitive strategies, require in-network insurance, need immediate crisis support, or are seeking care for unmanaged severe mental health conditions that require a higher level of support.
Practical & Legal Clarity
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. I work with individual adults (18+). I offer online sessions and in-person sessions in Nyack/Valley Cottage, NY. Services are private pay.
I am a Level 2-trained IFS therapist and Program Assistant for IFS Trainings; I am trained in EMDR through EMDR Consulting, which is EMDRIA-approved .
